Putter/Ball – Bring a putter with your name on it and a golf ball. Address labels work wonderfully to identify your putter.
Name Tag – Wear a name tag. If you forget your name tag, please use one of the available paper name tags.
Chip – Once you have paid for the day’s play, draw a chip from the Chip Starter. This designates your starting hole.
Clipboard – Locate the clipboard/scorecard with your starting hole number. Write your name in the next available space for two places – Holes 1-9 and Holes 10-18. Write your name using the format – firstname, lastname.
Walk Around – Please walk around the green to reach your starting hole, not across the green.
Dots – Dots are placed on the scorecard to indicate who will be first on each hole, in rotation. Score keeping is shared by all players. The person who hits first keeps score for the rest of that hole.
6″ Rules – Place the ball 6″ on either side of the Tee Marker.
Maximum Putts – If you are unable to hole the ball in three (3) attempts, pick it up and take a score of four (4).
Wait at the Edge – Teams should always wait at the edge of the green even if a Tee Marker is located in the middle.
Ready! – Always be ready to hit when it is your turn. This will speed up play and keep things moving smoothly.
Courtesy Counts! – Talk quietly. Be polite, friendly and respectful of other Putters when they are putting.
Scoring – Tally the scores for each 9-holes and write the score in the Total column for each 9-holes. When the game is complete, add the two 9-hole score and write in the GRD TOT (Grand Total) column. Tally the number of holes-in-one for each player and mark it in the Holes-1 column.
Return the Clipboard – Return the clipboard, pen and scorecard to the patio when scores have been recorded on the scorecard.
Fun! – Encourage your team members; cheer for holes-in-one and most of all, have fun!
